I applied to the Kieron Taylor trusts to be able to support the costs of my training

fees at drama school. I found the process quite easy and straightforward to apply too

and felt incredibly lucky to have received an award.

 

I love how caring and understanding the trust was with my application. Drama school

can be extremely expensive and inaccessible for many, i originally thought I was not

going to be able to go due to the overwhelming costs of fees, uniform, and

accommodation. But Kieron Taylor trust gave me that final push I needed to get

myself there.

 

With this award I was able to attend drama school and am now over halfway through my first year. It has been an amazing experience so far where I have leant so much, I have already improved so much and met so many likeminded people and inspirational teachers. I have gained so much more confidence, knowledge and understanding of the professional world and I am incredibly grateful and excited for the next 2 years.

 

Without this award I am not sure where I would be, it has has opened such a significant opportunity for me, and I hugely appreciate the support that has made this possible.This award gave me that sense of hope and encouragement I needed that this is the creative path for me. and I am very excited to see what the future holds.
