I applied because I was lucky enough to get cars in a great show which happened to be in London and I couldn't afford to do that on my own, the process was so simple and very quick. 

I put the money towards covering for my travel on trains and buses, food, water and costume.

If I wasn't given this award I wouldn't have been able to do the show and it would've been such ashame to miss out on it because it honestly opened up so many doors for me doing that show.
