About

Following Kieran Taylor's premature death in 2017, the Scholarship Trust was established to celebrate his life and his passion for the arts.

Kieran initially wanted to be a professional footballer but, when a broken leg dashed his hopes, he turned his energy and ambitions to drama. He became a talented actor, overcoming many obstacles in his life, but nothing could diminish his passion for performance and his determination to succeed. He graduated from Wac Arts with a Diploma in Professional Performance in Musical Theatre despite being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis during his training. He then began to build a career in performance and workshop leadership.

Kieran was an exceptional young man, always positive despite his challenges, and always ready to support others in achieving their goals. In his memory this fund aims to provide small but vital contributions to young people who share his dreams.

If you are a young person aged 14-25 who needs a little help to take you to your next step, apply here for a small grant and / or some specialist help.
